If you like to find out more about the history of the island you could try an archaeological field trip on Achill.
Why not try a Spring break in Achill. St. Patrick's Day is a very eventful time of year. Each local village has it's own Pipe Band, the parade is one of the most traditional in Ireland. Dooagh Pipe Band will pass your bedroom window at West End House.
Achill island is also home to the House of Prayer which is associated with Our Lady Queen of Peace. This is also open all year round.
